History: Act of Supremacy

The Jesuit movement borrowed from Lutheranism in spirit, but fundamentally turned Martin~Luther's conclusions upside down. The Jesuits declared strict allegiance to the Pope. The Jesuits' absolute obedience became an organized extension of the popes authority.
